The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov avoids the head kick by Lynch.
Joshua Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lynch scores with a punch to the head.
Lynch dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lynch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrov manages to avoid it.
Lynch throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Petrov counters with a single leg into guard. Lynch didn't expect that.
Lynch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petrov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Petrov wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Petrov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lynch's head.
Lynch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petrov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lynch is tightening it up a little... Petrov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Petrov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Petrov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lynch!
