Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lanch Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Hinds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lanch Boyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darryl Hinds! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hinds closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hinds darts in and clinches Boyer up against the cage. Hinds taking a breather. Boyer wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hinds looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The referee calls for Hinds to work.
Boyer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hinds ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Boyer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hinds. Hinds stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hinds wants it to stay on the feet. Boyer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hinds cracks Boyer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Boyer misses with a low kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Boyer shoots for a takedown but Hinds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lanch Boyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hinds lands a nice shot to the body.
Boyer tries to clinch but Hinds is having none of it. Hinds misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hinds misses with a series of wild punches.
Hinds closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boyer prevents a body shot from Hinds.
Boyer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boyer tries to close the distance and clinch but Hinds swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boyer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hinds counters with a two punch combo.
Boyer clinches with his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyer breaks the clinch.
Hinds takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lanch Boyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boyer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hinds fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boyer looks to land a right hand but Hinds moved out of range. Boyer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Boyer shoots in looking for a takedown but Hinds manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boyer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Boyer is breathing heavily. The fight stays on the outside here - Boyer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hinds swats him away and circles back towards the center.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyer shoots for a takedown but Hinds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hinds lands the left hand. Boyer shoots in and drives through. Hinds sprawls well. Hinds cracks Boyer with a right hand to the side of the head. Boyer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hinds avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hinds scores with a jab. Boyer acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hinds connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boyer's hands.
Hinds gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hinds lands a body punch. Hinds is trying to break free. Hinds lands a shoulder strike.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hinds looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Boyer looks for a takedown but Hinds sprawls well. Boyer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Boyer fails with a takedown attempt. Hinds throws a good cross that connects.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hinds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Boyer shoots in looking for a takedown but Hinds manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boyer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darryl Hinds dominated that round. That's time! Boyer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Boyer drags the fight down to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Boyer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyer has his foot on Hinds's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hinds works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boyer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Hinds looking to sit in guard and control but Boyer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Boyer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hinds darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hinds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boyer circles away. Boyer slips a jab and a cross from Hinds.
Boyer fails to land the takedown. Hinds displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boyer. Boyer moves forwards but Hinds connects with a nice, crisp jab.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hinds lands a lovely overhand right. Boyer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lanch Boyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boyer tries to clinch and Hinds counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hinds is looking to clinch but Boyer is avoiding it.
Lanch Boyer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boyer shoots in for a takedown but Hinds shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Boyer dives in for a single leg takedown but Hinds sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boyer prevents Hinds from breaking the clinch. Come on Hinds - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Boyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boyer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyer trying to mount his opponent but Hinds defends it. Boyer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nice strikes from Boyer there. Boyer passes to full mount! Hinds wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Boyer working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Hinds looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Boyer! Submission of the night perhaps?
