Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takayuki Okubo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Moukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moukari has chosen Sunblock - I'll Be Ready as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takayuki Okubo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Augustus Moukari!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okubo misses with a double jab.
Okubo feints and as Moukari raises his hands in defense, Okubo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Okubo prevents Moukari from getting back to his feet.
Okubo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Moukari is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Okubo, into his guard.
Okubo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moukari is looking to stand up but Okubo won't let him.

Okubo keeping busy on the bottom but Moukari has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Moukari prevents Okubo from improving his position.
Okubo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Moukari pulls his head out easily.
Moukari decides to return to a standing position.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Okubo has a takedown stuffed.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Moukari misses with a jab, cross combination.
Moukari lands a head kick. Okubo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Takayuki Okubo has been cut.
Okubo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Moukari throws a front kick that sends Okubo stumbling back into the ropes.
Okubo is breathing heavily.
Moukari is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Okubo flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Okubo is out cold! Moukari holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Augustus Moukari!
