Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bedford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin Worner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bedford escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Worner with a poor takedown

and Bedford counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bedford.
Worner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bedford walks away with a smile on his face. Worner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Worner tries for a takedown but Bedford circles away easily

and Bedford holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Johnny Bedford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Worner.
Bedford is stalling here.

Bedford gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Worner regains guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bedford wants to pass the guard but Worner is keeping the position.
Worner is trying to control the position but Bedford postures up.
Bedford trying to control the position from guard on top but Worner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bedford stands up from Worner's guard - Bedford perhaps looking for a knockout.
Worner tries for a takedown but Bedford circles away easily

and Bedford counters with a nice double leg into side control. Worner won't be happy with that.

Bedford goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Worner has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bedford but great work by Worner.
Bedford wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Worner has an Americana. Bedford didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Worner is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Worner hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
