Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pope Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reuben Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pope Fish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reuben Cox! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish connects with a leg kick. Cox looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. We've been hearing reports that Fish has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Cox throws a head kick but Fish moves out of range.
Cox misses with a low kick.
Cox thuds his shin into the meat of Fish's side. Fish takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cox feints and then cracks Fish's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fish down. A nice inside leg kick there by Cox. That's going to slow Fish down. Cox feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fish's calf. Cox connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cox throws a leg kick which misses Fish's front leg but catches the back leg as Fish tries to avoid it. Fish throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Cox connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fish misses with a low kick.
Cox tries to land a front kick but Fish steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Cox tried to score with a low kick but Fish checks it. Cox tests Fish's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fish uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cox has time to react. A slow jab from Cox misses its intended target. Cox scores with a sloppy right hand. Fish should have avoided that one. Cox scores with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cox misses with a body shot.
Fish slips a jab from Cox. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fish.
Fish swings for the body but Cox moves out of range.
Fish misses with a double jab.
Fish ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cox moves away. Cox knocks Fish to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Fish is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fish being controlled for a moment. Oh Fish is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cox is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fish is trying to escape and Cox transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fish is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cox! Very nice indeed!
