Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kid Kamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobofuki Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kid Kamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nobofuki Mishima! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishima shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kamamoto but Kamamoto pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mishima closes the distance and clinches up with Kamamoto, looking for a takedown. Mishima pushes Kamamoto against the ropes but Kamamoto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mishima tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kamamoto swivels and escapes. Kid Kamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nobofuki Mishima. Mishima changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kamamoto tries to avoid it but Mishima manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kamamoto to the ground. Kamamoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mishima throws a head kick but Kamamoto moves out of range.
Kamamoto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kamamoto working over Mishima with some ground and pound. Mishima looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kamamoto slips a nice elbow through Mishima's hands, connecting with Mishima's forehead. Mishima tries to get to full guard but Kamamoto has control of the leg. Mishima makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mishima. Kamamoto postures up in Mishima's guard and throws a big left but Mishima blocks it. Kamamoto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kamamoto preventing the sweep. Kamamoto throwing strikes from guard but Mishima blocks nicely. Kamamoto with a nice head shot there. Mishima is looking for a triangle but Kamamoto pushes his legs off easily.
Mishima looks gassed! Kamamoto lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kamamoto working some strikes from top position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kamamoto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mishima! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kamamoto cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mishima works his way to full guard. Good work. Kamamoto works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mishima has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kamamoto is working away from the top position though. Mishima actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are battling for position here. Mishima manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kamamoto prevents Mishima from improving his position. Kamamoto drops an elbow to the side of Mishima's head. Mishima misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mishima regains full guard. Nicely done. Mishima looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kamamoto is one step ahead there.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kamamoto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mishima will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kamamoto drives through with a takedown into guard. Mishima is trying to control the position from the bottom.

He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kamamoto seems to have locked his on tight now - Mishima screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kamamoto, as he picks up the win!
