Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Choel Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wet Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Choel Six!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Six shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hell napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Six asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Six tries to stand but Hell is controlling his head.
Hell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Six. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Six is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hell has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hell is looking for a sweep.
Hell is trying to work for a sweep but Six has mounted him!
Hell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Six lands a couple of good shots and Hell has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Six goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Hell escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Hell trying to advance position but Six counters by regaining guard.

Six has his foot on Hell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hell works his way back into a safe position though.

Hell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Six has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hell has managed to get both his arms back between Six's legs - danger averted.
Six wants to sweep here but Hell controlling him for the moment.
Hell passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Six might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Six wants to control but Hell postures up.
Six manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hell postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Six to stand up.
Choel Six seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Six tries to bum rush Hell with a series of wild strikes but Hell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Six closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hell did well to prevent Six getting side control.
Hell tries to get to full guard but Six has control of the leg.
Six seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hell wants to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Six closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Six tries to stand and escape but Hell is controlling the position.
Six wants to take a breather but Hell is having none of it.
Six wants to pass to mount but Hell is defending the position.
Six is looking to take a break and control but Hell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hell controlling the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Choel Six just wasn't active enough.

Six looking to score a takedown here. Hell is defending well but Six drives through and ends up in Hell's guard.

Hell looking for a sweep. Not yet Hell, not yet.
Hell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hell wriggles free and stands up.

Hell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Six to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Six could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Six wants to control from the top but Hell keeps moving.
Hell pulls Six in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Six looks to clinch

and Hell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Six throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Six manages to pull guard.
Hell controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Hell has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Six wants to improve his position but instead Hell has moved into half guard.

Hell is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Six has managed to free his arm - good work.

Six looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hell is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hell controlling the position easily from mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Six flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Hell moves out of range of the body kick from Six.

Hell moves into range and clinches up with Six.
Six wants to break free but Hell has control.
Hell doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Six gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hell is not content to let Six control the position.
Hell is looking to escape.
Six not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hell controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Six drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Six tries to advance position but instead Hell slips a leg back in to half guard.
Hell is controlling Six's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Hell is not content to let Six control the position.
Hell keeping hold of Six's head, controlling as best he can.
Six is trying to control. Hell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Six is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Six.
Six is looking to take a break and control but Hell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Choel Six wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Six, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
