Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jeferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rony Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Jeferson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Jeferson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rony Moraes! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moraes misses with a low kick. Jeferson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Moraes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Moraes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Moraes is trying to work for a kimura but Jeferson is defending well.
Moraes seems to be looking for submissions.
Moraes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jeferson's head. Moraes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jeferson defends it well. Jeferson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Ground Zero, London that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Moraes controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jeferson is refusing to be controlled, as Moraes sits in half guard. Moraes prevents Jeferson from standing back up.
Jeferson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jeferson tries to get out of the position. Moraes works his way into side control. Moraes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moraes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jeferson, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeferson is pushing Moraes's head away, looking to escape. Moraes manages to hold on to the position though. Moraes is trying to ground and pound but Jeferson uses the momentary lack of control by Moraes to regain half guard. Jeferson wants to get back to his feet.
Moraes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jeferson is just riding it out for now. Moraes eventually gives up the hold. Moraes frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jeferson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Moraes.
Moraes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jeferson is surviving well by controlling Moraes's body position as best he can. Moraes goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jeferson is on top in guard.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Moraes is looking for a kimura here.

Moraes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jeferson keeps working. Moraes trying to pass the guard but Jeferson defending well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moraes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jeferson kicks off Moraes and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rony Moraes dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Moraes attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Moraes throws a body punch but Jeferson moves out of range. Moraes is looking to chop away at Jeferson's legs. Moraes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jeferson's waist but Jeferson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moraes off to one side. Jeferson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moraes napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jeferson scores with punches from side control. Moraes is looking to reverse the position. Moraes regains half guard. Moraes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Moraes throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jeferson uses it to pass to side control.
Moraes is trying to control Jeferson's posture but Jeferson avoids it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jeferson is chipping away with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Moraes tries to roll over but Jeferson keeps him under control. Moraes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Moraes on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Moraes trying to control from the bottom.
Moraes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jeferson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jeferson's back! Jeferson defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moraes sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Jeferson taps out!
