The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple tries to clinch but Mason moves out of range.
Apple tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mason counters with a stiff right hand.
Apple fails to land the takedown.
Mason throws out a powerful jab.
Mason lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Apple wants to clinch up but Mason keeps it at a distance.
Mason connects with a body shot that sends Apple's belly button to the back.
Apple fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mason cracks Apple with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Apple looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mason finish him?
Apple is rocked!
Mason connects with a stiff jab that staggers Apple - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zane Mason!
Zane Mason was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
