Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Yakuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Gazette / Filth In The Beauty. The Yakuza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Julian Tremblay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, The Yakuza! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Yakuza. The Yakuza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Tremblay. Yakuza does a little dance to reset his feet. Tremblay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tremblay fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tremblay swings for the body but Yakuza moves out of range.
Yakuza throws a head kick that misses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yakuza checks a leg kick. Yakuza walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yakuza throws a body shot but no joy. Yakuza looks for the body kick but Tremblay saw that one coming. Yakuza misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tremblay checks a low kick from Yakuza. Tremblay moves out of range of the strikes. Yakuza throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Julian Tremblay has been cut. Tremblay pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Tremblay misses with a leg kick. Tremblay misses with a body kick. Yakuza swings for the body but Tremblay moves out of range.
Tremblay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tremblay throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tremblay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tremblay wants to pass the guard but Yakuza is keeping the position. Tremblay with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. The Yakuza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yakuza throws the kick towards the body but Tremblay avoids it. Tremblay misses with a looping right. Tremblay on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Tremblay stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yakuza. Some bone on bone action there as Tremblay checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tremblay throws a low kick but Yakuza avoids it. Tremblay throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tremblay misses the shot to the body. Yakuza connects with an inside leg kick. Yakuza uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tremblay.

Yakuza misses with a leg kick. Tremblay is looking to wear down Yakuza with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Yakuza throws a leg kick but Tremblay sees it coming and moves out of range. Yakuza tries to land a leg kick but Tremblay saw it coming and moves away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tremblay. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yakuza defending against the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Julian Tremblay will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Julian Tremblay's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Yakuza lands with an uppercut that bounces Tremblay off the cage and back into range. Tremblay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Yakuza motions for Tremblay to come forward. Yakuza throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Yakuza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tremblay. Tremblay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yakuza moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yakuza feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tremblay's calf. An inside leg kick from Yakuza misses. Tremblay checks a leg kick. Tremblay checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tremblay blocks a head kick by Yakuza.
A clash of legs there as Tremblay blocks the low kick. Yakuza tries to work over Tremblay's front leg with a kick but Tremblay checks it. Tremblay drops his hands momentarily and Yakuza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Yakuza swings for the body but Tremblay moves out of range.

Tremblay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yakuza manages to avoid it. Tremblay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yakuza.
Yakuza dips to his left and cracks Tremblay with an uppercut! Yakuza keeps Tremblay at a distance using the push kick.

Yakuza connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A solid body kick from Yakuza. The Yakuza seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tremblay attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tremblay avoids the body shot from Yakuza.
An inside leg kick from Tremblay misses. Tremblay is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Yakuza plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tremblay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yakuza.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tremblay thows a left - swing and a miss! Yakuza lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Tremblay avoids the head kick by Yakuza.
Yakuza fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tremblay. Yakuza throws a low kick, looking for Tremblay's leg but Tremblay calmly moves out of range. Yakuza fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tremblay has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Yakuza connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tremblay walks into a left hand. Tremblay checks a low kick from Yakuza. Yakuza is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. This has been an exciting period of action! Yakuza lands a head kick. Tremblay smiles back at him and beckons him forward. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Yakuza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Julian Tremblay's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tremblay checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Yakuza throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Horrible takedown attempt by Tremblay or perhaps it was just good defense by Yakuza, which made it look bad. Yakuza lands a head kick. Tremblay smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Yakuza is looking to slow Tremblay down with leg kicks. Tremblay looks to land a right hand but Yakuza moved out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yakuza throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Yakuza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tremblay. Tremblay circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yakuza wants to slow Tremblay down by chopping away at his legs. Yakuza throws a front kick aimed at Tremblay's knee but Tremblay avoids it well. That kick from Yakuza tenderised Tremblay's leg. Tremblay is trying to keep his angry face on. Tremblay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yakuza connects with a solid leg kick. Tremblay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yakuza to the mat! Yakuza manages to get full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tremblay throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tremblay throwing strikes from guard but Yakuza blocks nicely. Yakuza working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tremblay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yakuza keeping full guard, as Tremblay tries to pass. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yakuza can do anything to dispel that myth. Tremblay landing some decent shots from guard. Yakuza is looking to stand up but Tremblay isn't so interested in that idea. Tremblay throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tremblay cracks Yakuza with a good jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. An inside leg kick lands from Yakuza. Tremblay avoids the head kick by Yakuza.
Tremblay tries for a takedown but Yakuza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Tremblay. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tremblay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yakuza looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Yakuza throws a good cross that connects.
Tremblay throws a hook to the side of Yakuza's head but Yakuza sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yakuza chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Yakuza throws a chopping leg kick but Tremblay manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Yakuza has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Tremblay shoots in for a takedown but Yakuza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Yakuza throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
And that's the end of the fight! The Yakuza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Yakuza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
