The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Safforn momentarily.
It looks like Abraham Safforn has been cut.
Safforn has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Helix lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Helix has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Safforn walks into a stiff left hand from Helix.
Helix throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Safforn tumbling to the canvas!
Safforn is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Helix stands up over Safforn, holding on to his feet. Helix throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Safforn is out cold! Helix lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
