Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Yount (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Allan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Allan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robin Yount! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yount tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Allan counters by moving into the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Allan. Allan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Yount after a bit of a struggle. Allan jumps guard and drags Yount to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Allan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Allan working for a triangle but Yount defends it easily.
Yount tries to stand but Allan is controlling from the bottom. Yount wants to stand and escape but instead Allan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Yount looking to control but Allan passes into half guard.
Allan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Allan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Yount strikes from the bottom but Allan passes into mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Allan working for a submission but Yount is keeping him at bay. Yount blocking the ground and pound. Allan throws some wild stikes that Yount manages to avoid easily.
Allan working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Yount looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Allan! Submission of the night perhaps?
