Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matija Medvesek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matija Medvesek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Taylor! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medvesek forces Taylor back against the cage and clinches. Taylor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Taylor tries to circle away but Medvesek has him pinned against the cage. Medvesek wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Taylor has him pressed against the cage. Medvesek avoids the elbow strike from Taylor, against the cage.
Medvesek keeps control of Taylor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Taylor wants to break the clinch but can't.

Taylor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Medvesek tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Taylor's elbow. Medvesek breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Medvesek tries to clinch up. Nice takedown defense from Taylor. No joy for Medvesek on that attempt. Medvesek closes the distance looking to clinch and Taylor counters with a three punch combo that has Medvesek backing up. Medvesek nods at Taylor to acknowledge the strikes. Taylor clobbers Medvesek with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Taylor keeps the fight on the outside. A head kick misses from Taylor. A clash of legs there as Taylor blocks the low kick. Medvesek tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Matija Medvesek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Medvesek wants to clinch. Medvesek doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.
Taylor keeps the fight on the outside. Taylor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Medvesek sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Medvesek tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt and Taylor counters with a good, hard body kick but Medvesek shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Medvesek forces Taylor back against the cage and clinches. Medvesek lands a hook to the side of the head. Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Taylor fails to land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Medvesek tries to clinch but Taylor moves out of range. Taylor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Medvesek. Medvesek circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Medvesek tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Taylor defends well and Medvesek ends up having to push Taylor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matija Medvesek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor is trying to break the clinch but Medvesek is controlling him. Taylor breaks the clinch.
Luke Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Taylor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taylor throws a body kick that misses. Taylor cracks the inside of Medvesek's front leg. Medvesek moves away from the strike by Taylor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Taylor dominated that round. That's time! Medvesek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Medvesek moves out of range as Taylor strikes. Medvesek tried to score with a low kick but Taylor checks it. Medvesek closes the distance and clinches. Taylor tries to break the clinch but Medvesek is controlling the position. Medvesek misses with a shot to the kidneys.

A frustrated look appears on Taylor's face as he tries to break the clinch. Medvesek just leaning against Taylor, taking a breather. Taylor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Taylor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Medvesek tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Taylor. Medvesek looks to clinch and Taylor counters with a nice body kick. Medvesek shoots in for a double leg but Taylor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Taylor takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Taylor throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Medvesek has taken the fight to the clinch.
Medvesek tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Taylor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Medvesek tries to clinch but Taylor is having none of it. Medvesek dives in and grabs Taylor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes down on Medvesek's head and hops out. Medvesek throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Medvesek closes the distance looking to clinch and Taylor counters with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Medvesek is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Taylor. Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Medvesek moves out of range easily. Medvesek tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Medvesek misses with a body kick. Taylor throws a head kick but Medvesek moves out of range.
Taylor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Medvesek checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Medvesek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taylor paws at him with a jab and circles away. Medvesek is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Medvesek is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
Medvesek tries to clinch up. Matija Medvesek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Medvesek fails in his attempt to clinch. Medvesek misses with a body kick. Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Medvesek looks to clinch and Taylor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Medvesek scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Medvesek controlling the action here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Matija Medvesek will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Medvesek shoots in but no luck this time. Medvesek shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taylor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matija Medvesek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Taylor avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A big left from Taylor misses.

Taylor lands a head kick. Medvesek smiles back at him and beckons him forward. The fight stays on the outside here - Medvesek looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Taylor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Taylor cracks Medvesek with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Taylor checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Medvesek with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Taylor cracks a nice hook into Medvesek's ribs. Taylor misses with a low kick as Medvesek jumps back. Medvesek moves in looking to clinch but Taylor pushes him off. Medvesek drives through and clinches with Taylor against the cage.

Taylor looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt and Taylor finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Luke Taylor seems to be getting the better of the standup. A big right from Taylor misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taylor misses with an attempted mid kick.

And that's the end of the fight! Luke Taylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Taylor has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
