The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Castro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Castro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mayfield tries to clinch there but Castro circles away.

Castro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Castro lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mayfield takes a step back to recover.
Giovani Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Castro, as that shot connected.
Mayfield dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Oh Mayfield is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mayfield is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Castro doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Mayfield crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Mayfield's bad books for that mishap!
