Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Boschat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Mamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamba is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Here Comes The Hotstepper. Bobby Mamba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamba looks to throw the jab but Boschat is out of range.
Mamba fails with a takedown attempt.
Mamba shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Boschat is trying to defend but Mamba finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mamba perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boschat is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at BEVA Fight Home that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

My spies in The Boom Boom Room inform me that Mamba has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Mamba dives in and grabs Boschat's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boschat pushes down on Mamba's head and hops out.

Mamba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boschat keeps working.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mamba shoots in for a takedown but Boschat shows good takedown defense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boschat throws a shot from downtown. Mamba moves away and avoids it.
Boschat misses with an uppercut. Mamba saw that one coming.
Boschat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boschat gets caught flat footed, as Mamba shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
