Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie McQueen Duckarse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Take Down!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duckarse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duckarse lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Down escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duckarse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Duckarse tries to stand but Down is controlling from the bottom.
Duckarse throws a big right hand that misses.
Duckarse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Down is adopting a defensive guard.
Duckarse trying to control the position from guard on top but Down is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duckarse stops Down from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duckarse thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Down really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duckarse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Down thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Duckarse is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Duckarse passes Down's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duckarse keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Down pushes Duckarse off but Duckarse dives into side control.
Down is not content to let Duckarse control the position.
Duckarse taking a breather here.
Duckarse has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Down dodges the ground and pound from Duckarse.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Down sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Duckarse has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Duckarse looking to control but Down is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Duckarse sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Duckarse prevents Down from getting the reversal.
Duckarse trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Down is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Down has given up his back here. Will Duckarse look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Duckarse keeps control of the position easily here as Down tries to buck him off.
Down wants to get back to his feet.
Duckarse scores with punches to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Down tries to break free.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duckarse looking for the choke from the back.

Duckarse is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Down has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freddie McQueen Duckarse dominated that round.
That's time! Duckarse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Duckarse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No joy there for Duckarse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Duckarse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Freddie McQueen Duckarse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Duckarse looking to sit in guard and control but Down gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Duckarse had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Down defends it easily.
Down prevents Duckarse from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duckarse can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Down controls the pace.
Down must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Down stopping the sweep attempt from Duckarse.
Duckarse controls Down momentarily but Down frees himself.
Down trying to control but Duckarse is working from the bottom.
Duckarse not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Freddie McQueen Duckarse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Down instigates a clinch.
Duckarse is trying to push Down away but Down has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

A head punch on the inside from Down fails to land.
Down tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duckarse avoids it.
Down tries to pull guard but Duckarse forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Duckarse pulls guard successfully.
Duckarse is looking to stand up but Down isn't so interested in that idea.
Duckarse looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Duckarse keeping moving, preventing Down from controlling successfully.

Down postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duckarse is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Down, into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Duckarse controlling from the top position.

We're going to have a standup here because Freddie McQueen Duckarse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Down tries to close the distance and clinch but Duckarse swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Down misses with a wild body shot.
Duckarse shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Down counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Duckarse moves into the clinch.
Down fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Down manages to break the clinch.
Duckarse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Down tries to land a leg kick but Duckarse saw it coming and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Down doesn't manage to clinch there - Duckarse circles away.
Down misses with a double jab.
Down finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freddie McQueen Duckarse dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Duckarse wants to clinch up but Down keeps it at a distance.
Down keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Down tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duckarse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Down somewhat.
Duckarse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Down feints and as Duckarse raises his hands in defense, Down changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Down preventing the sweep.

Down is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Duckarse has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Down is looking to defend but Duckarse has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Down! Duckarse pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Down taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Freddie McQueen Duckarse!
