Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sock looks to land a right hand but Allen moved out of range.

Allen clinches up with Sock and pushes him back against the cage.

Sock is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Allen can't fight it off and eventually Sock manages to take the fight to the floor. Allen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sock is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control.

Allen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sock throwing strikes but missing.

Allen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sock defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sock drops back looking for a leg! Allen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Allen manages to kick Sock off! Sock jumps back into Allen's guard.
Sock should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sock stands up over Allen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sock won't allow Allen to sweep him here.
Allen keeping full guard, as Sock tries to pass.
Sock postures up in Allen's guard and throws a big left but Allen blocks it.

Allen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sock doesn't defend quickly enough and Allen has managed to lock this one up! Can Sock escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Allen on a fantastic submission victory.
