Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joan Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Larkus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joan Lester is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joan Lester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Larkus! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lester tries for a takedown but Larkus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Larkus tries to sprawl but Lester drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lester thows a huge punch but Larkus dodges it nicely.

Larkus regains full guard. Nicely done. Larkus controls Lester momentarily but Lester frees himself. Lester won't allow Larkus to sweep him here. Lester really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lester not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lester gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Larkus lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Joan Lester has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Larkus misses with a series of wild punches.
Lester dives in and scores a takedown into Larkus's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lester showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Larkus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lester engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lester won't allow Larkus to sweep him here. Larkus is pulling down on Lester's head. It's preventing any offense from Lester, at least for the moment.
Joan Lester has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Lester throws a head kick that misses and Larkus counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Larkus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lester is refusing to be controlled, as Larkus sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lester is trying to stand.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lester manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Larkus trying to control the position from guard on top but Lester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lester working a defensive guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Larkus was stalling too much, according to the referee. Larkus misses with a combination
and Lester counters by clinching up. Lester tries for a takedown but Larkus manages to get underhooks.
Lester jumps guard but Larkus stands there with Lester around his waist. Lester gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joan Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lester tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Larkus smiles and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lester tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Larkus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fighters circle momentarily. Larkus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jason Larkus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lester moves out of range of the strikes. Larkus fails to land with a series of punches.
Larkus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lester counters with a head kick. That will keep Larkus thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Larkus tries to bum rush Lester with a series of wild strikes but Lester uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lester looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Larkus!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lester is looking to take a break and control but Larkus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Larkus is trying to control Lester's posture but Lester avoids it. Larkus is letting Lester control him for a moment. Larkus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lester wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Larkus is not content to let Lester control the position. Larkus tries to get back to half guard but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A lull in the action here as Lester stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joan Lester will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Joan Lester's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Larkus misses with a double jab.
Larkus's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Larkus duly obliges.
Lester is rocked! Larkus throws an overhand right that has Lester reeling! Larkus follows up with more punches and Lester is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jason Larkus!
