Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Karl Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Eckstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Drogo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Eckstein! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eckstein cracks Drogo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Drogo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Eckstein finds it's way round the side to connect with Drogo's head. Drogo throws a push kick but Eckstein slaps the foot to one side. Drogo avoids the head kick by Eckstein.
Eckstein will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drogo connects with a leg kick. Eckstein looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Drogo throws a nice inside leg kick. Eckstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eckstein throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A decent looking cross lands there for Eckstein. A nice inside leg kick there by Eckstein. That's going to slow Drogo down. Eckstein misses the jab. Eckstein misses with a leg kick. Nice jab there from Eckstein. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eckstein throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Eckstein tries a low kick but Drogo avoids it. Eckstein lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Drogo moves in looking to clinch but Eckstein pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drogo misses with a head kick.
Drogo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Eckstein counters with a stiff right hand. Drogo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Eckstein. Eckstein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Drogo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A jab from Eckstein does it's job there. Eckstein throws a hook but Drogo blocks it. Drogo slips a jab from Eckstein. Eckstein scores with a jab.
Drogo is rocked! Eckstein plants his feet and throws a devastating head kick! It connects square on Drogo's ear and has knocked him out cold! No need for a count here as the referee immediately tends to a stricken Drogo, crumpled in the corner! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jason Eckstein! Jason Eckstein retains his light heavyweight title! Jason Eckstein decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
