The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as McDougle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hearns doesn't seem phased though.
McDougle throws a left that rocks Hearns and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McDougle dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hearns regain composure!
It looks like Thomas Hearns has been cut.
McDougle trying to control the position but Hearns is working away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDougle takes a little break here. Hearns wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
My spies in M Jay's Training Center inform me that McDougle has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Hearns bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Hearns keeps the fight on the outside.
Hearns doesn't manage to clinch there - McDougle circles away.

McDougle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hearns tries to clinch but McDougle moves out of range.

McDougle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A frustrated look appears on McDougle's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by McDougle.
McDougle blocks an elbow strike from Hearns.
Hearns lands a nice elbow.
That has opened up Arnie McDougle's cut even more.
Hearns gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The cut above Arnie McDougle's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hearns is stalling here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hearns lands an elbow that stopped McDougle in his tracks for a moment.
Arnie McDougle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arnie McDougle's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
