The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Beast fails with the takedown.
Beast throws a half hearted mid kick.
Beast throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jersey checks a leg kick nicely.
Beast throws the kick towards the body but Jersey avoids it.
Jersey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beast defends it nicely.
Beast will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Beast feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jersey's calf.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jersey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beast on his heels. He'll look to pass Beast's guard now, I'm sure.

Beast has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jersey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
