Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Merkan Killmaz!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko shoots in for a double leg but Killmaz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Emelianenko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Emelianenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Emelianenko seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Killmaz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt - Killmaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Killmaz, right into the meat.

Killmaz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Emelianenko to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Emelianenko looks to clinch but Killmaz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Emelianenko taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Merkan Killmaz!
Merkan Killmaz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
