Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Hatayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garcia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sottotono - Quei bravi ragazzi. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hatayama's choice of entrance music: Samurai Soul. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hatayama lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hatayama shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Garcia's guard.

Hatayama has control of Garcia's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Garcia regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hatayama's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Garcia is looking to control Hatayama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garcia avoid being mounted?

Well Hatayama has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
