Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liam Neeson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sai Fukuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Liam Neeson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Sai Fukuta!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukuta scores with a jab to the body.
Sai Fukuta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fukuta closes the distance and pushes Neeson back into the cage.
Neeson wants a takedown but no success here.
Fukuta's coach down at Ultimate MMA Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fukuta's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fukuta breaks from the clinch.
Fukuta closes the distance and pushes Neeson back into the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Fukuta.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Fukuta obliges.

Fukuta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fukuta scores with a spinning back kick!
Neeson with a poor takedown
and Fukuta counters with a crisp one two that drops Neeson! Fukuta thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Neeson to his feet! Neeson is in big trouble!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fukuta thuds a left hand into Neeson's body.
Fukuta lands a left and a right that send Neeson crashing to the mat, dazed. Fukuta thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Neeson is rocked!
It looks like Liam Neeson has been cut.
Fukuta batters Neeson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Neeson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Fukuta lands a final crushing right hand to drop Neeson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Fukuta is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sai Fukuta!
During a confident post fight interview, Sai Fukuta thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
