Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ademir Azevado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ademir Azevado!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Azevado lunges at Aybara with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Aybara's hand.
Azevado scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Aybara has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Sweat Lodge in the buildup to the fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Azevado misses the target.
Aybara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Aybara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Azevado manages to avoid it.
Aybara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Azevado was well out of range. Poor timing from Aybara.

Azevado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Azevado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Azevado avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Azevado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aybara looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aybara looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aybara!

Aybara winds up and cracks Azevado with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Aybara is nestled in close to Azevado, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Aybara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Azevado with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Azevado drops back looking for a leg! Aybara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aybara manages to kick Azevado off! Azevado jumps back into Aybara's guard.

Aybara thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Azevado if he has to take too many more of those.

Aybara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Azevado is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Azevado has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Aybara defend it? Azevado steps over the head and cranks it - Aybara is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Azevado!
