Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brady Tracey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracey comes to the cage accompanied by Purple Haze. William King has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brady Tracey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brady Tracey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William King!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by King - just one landing.
King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
William King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King is looking to chop away at Tracey's legs.
Tracey misses with a looping left.
King scores with a leg kick.
King moves out of range of the strikes.
King shoots in but Tracey avoids the takedown attempt easily.

King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tracey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

King trying to control but Tracey is working from the bottom.
Tracey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.
King controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

King wants to control from the top but Tracey keeps moving.

King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tracey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tracey tries to get out of the position.
King pushes down on Tracey's leg and manages to get into half guard.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tracey defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

King is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tracey has managed to free his arm - good work.

King is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
King winds up and cracks Tracey with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tracey tries to kick King off but King keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
King trying to control the action but Tracey is working from the bottom.
Nice strikes from King there.
Tracey trying to control from the bottom.
Tracey is looking to escape.
Tracey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. King is working away from the top position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tracey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tracey ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King misses with a head kick.

King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tracey avoids any damage from the ground and pound of King.
Tracey regains half guard there - taking advantage of King's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
King trying to control from half guard but Tracey is working away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tracey avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William King dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



King looking to score a takedown here. Tracey is defending well but King drives through and ends up in Tracey's guard.
Tracey has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Tracey keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
Tracey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
King stands and throws Tracey's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tracey is working to avoid the ground and pound but King connects with a decent elbow.
King in side control, just content to control the action for now.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

King is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tracey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The strikes coming from King are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sloppy strikes there by King.
An elbow from King crashes against the mat.
King misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tracey being controlled for a moment.

Tracey is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Tracey is not content to let King control the position.
Tracey takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tracey will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
King tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Tracey struggling a bit here.
King creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tracey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
King lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Tracey pushes King away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, King gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
King content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
King is looking to take a break and control but Tracey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King advances to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poor strikes thrown by King there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


King misses with a kick to the body.
Tracey throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by King.
King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King throws a head kick that misses.
A solid body kick from King.
Tracey turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tracey walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. King checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tracey misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tracey.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
King checks a leg kick.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tracey circles away.
Tracey dodges the punch combination from King.

That's one minute gone in the round.

King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tracey on his heels. He'll look to pass Tracey's guard now, I'm sure.
King postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
King trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
King cracks Tracey with a solid left hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tracey holds on and takes a little breather.
King trying to control but Tracey is working from the bottom.
King not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tracey is staying active underneath King, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
King is pressing down on Tracey's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tracey is holding on for now.
King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
King tries to pass to full mount but Tracey defends it.

King wants to work for an arm triangle but Tracey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

William King has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tracey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tracey keeps working.
Brady Tracey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tracey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
King wants to pass the guard but Tracey is defending well.
King throwing shots but Tracey is blocking nicely.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tracey avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
King misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Tracey.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
King throws a sloppy head kick
and Tracey counters with a three punch combo that has King backing up. King nods at Tracey to acknowledge the strikes.

Tracey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows King to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tracey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
William King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got King winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
