The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodroffe drives through and clinches with Sheppard against the cage.
Sheppard missing with knees to the body.
Woodroffe lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Myles Sheppard has been cut.
Woodroffe breaks the clinch.
Woodroffe connects with the punch.
Woodroffe rushes Sheppard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nice body punch from Woodroffe - that landed with a thud.
Woodroffe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Woodroffe moves into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Woodroffe lands an elbow just above Sheppard 's eye.
Sheppard is rocked!
Sheppard is pressed against the cage. Woodroffe pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Sheppard! Two more big strikes from Woodroffe and Sheppard crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Matt Woodroffe!
After winning the bout, Matt Woodroffe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
