Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastian Mayo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Timmers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo blocks the body kick.
Mayo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Timmers.
Timmers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sebastian Mayo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Timmers.
Timmers dives in and grabs Mayo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mayo pushes down on Timmers's head and hops out.

Mayo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Timmers avoids it.
Mayo is pressed up against the cage. Timmers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mayo down to the mat. Mayo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mayo closes the distance and clinches up with Timmers, looking for a takedown. Mayo pushes Timmers against the cage but Timmers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mayo lands with a nice combination. Timmers backs away looking to recover.
Mayo cracks a nice hook into Timmers's ribs.
Mayo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mayo shoots in and drives through. Timmers sprawls well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mayo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Timmers circles away quickly and effectively.

Mayo swings for the body but Timmers moves out of range.

and Mayo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Timmers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mayo's head.


It looks like Sebastian Mayo has been cut.
Mayo swats away the attempt to clinch by Timmers.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Timmers has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mayo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sebastian Mayo will probably get the nod.

That's time! Mayo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Timmers is looking to clinch but Mayo is avoiding it.
Mayo is looking to wear down Timmers with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Timmers moves in looking to clinch but Mayo pushes him off.
Timmers throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Mayo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mayo clobbers Timmers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mayo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Timmers's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Horrible takedown attempt by Timmers or perhaps it was just good defense by Mayo, which made it look bad.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Timmers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mayo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Timmers walks away with a smile on his face. Mayo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mayo.

Mayo drives through with a takedown into Timmers's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Timmers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mayo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mayo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Tim Timmers.
