0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leyton Brown! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Brown scores with a nice hook to the head. Brasher goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brasher fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away. Brown displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Brasher clinches with his opponent.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A short right from Brown. Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brasher pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jimmy Brasher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown wants to break the clinch but can't.
Brown lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Brasher drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Brasher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brown shoots in but no luck this time. Brasher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brown.
Brasher takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brasher sprawls well. Brasher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brown gets slowly back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brasher misses with a takedown attempt and Brown counters with a left and a right that stings Brasher. Brasher is breathing heavily. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brasher swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brown shoots for a takedown but Brasher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brown slaps away a takedown attempt from Brasher, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brown clinches. Brown can't break the clinch.

Brown is trying to break free. Brown lands with a light punch inside. Brasher tries for a takedown. No joy.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brown holds on and takes a little breather. Brown keeping moving, preventing Brasher from controlling successfully. Brasher prevents Brown from getting back to his feet. Brasher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brasher looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Brown postures up in Brasher's guard and throws a big left but Brasher blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leyton Brown dominated that round. That's time! Brasher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brasher dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Brasher's head and hops out. Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Brasher sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brown throws a series of punches but Brasher avoids them all with ease. Brown moves into the clinch. Brasher is trying to stall.
Brown lands with a short shot to the head. Brasher is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Brasher manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brown throws a right and a left that Brasher avoids nicely. Brown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brown wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Brasher. Brown is trying to break free. Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Brasher trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brasher throws a big elbow that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown throws a strike but Brasher rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brown seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are working up against the cage. Brown manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Brown is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brasher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Brasher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brown has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brasher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brown tries to break free but Brasher pushes him back against the cage. Brasher is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brown is defending well for now. Brown on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Brasher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brasher smiles and moves away.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brasher walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jimmy Brasher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leyton Brown. Brasher tries to clinch but Brown moves out of range. Brasher with a nice cross. Both fighters circling a little - Brasher finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brasher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Brasher is trying to break the clinch but Brown is controlling him. Brasher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brasher wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance. Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Brasher. Brasher gets slowly back to his feet. Brown throws a right and a left that Brasher avoids nicely. Leyton Brown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brasher tries to clinch but Brown moves out of range. Brown closes the distance and clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Brasher manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Leyton Brown. Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
