PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Winston Wyrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Raptor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyrm comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Tread by Damn Yankees. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raptor missing with a left hand there. Wyrm was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wyrm chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Raptor can pounce on him.

Raptor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Raptor lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wyrm controls Raptor momentarily but Raptor frees himself.

Wyrm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raptor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wyrm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Raptor defends well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wyrm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raptor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Raptor wants to pass the guard but Wyrm is keeping the position.

Raptor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wyrm is rocked!
Raptor postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Wyrm out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Raptor goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
