Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Galati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianni Visnadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galati comes to the cage accompanied by Anarchy in the UK. Visnadi has chosen Blind by Korn as his entrance music. Gianni Visnadi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pavel Galati! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gianni Visnadi! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Galati has managed to clinch.
Visnadi has Galati pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Galati manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Visnadi has Galati pressed against the cage, preventing Galati from circling away and getting back to striking at range. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Galati is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Visnadi wants a takedown.

Visnadi jumps guard and drags Galati to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Galati trying to control the position from guard on top but Visnadi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Galati tries to free his leg and advance position but Visnadi is retaining full guard. Visnadi keeping moving, preventing Galati from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galati won't allow Visnadi to sweep him here. Galati content to stall in guard here. Visnadi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Galati is looking to advance position but Visnadi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Galati is trying desperately to improve position. Visnadi avoids the attempt from Galati to control. Visnadi throwing strikes here but Galati is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Galati defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Visnadi. Galati sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Galati is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Visnadi pulls his head out easily. Galati gets back to full guard.
Visnadi passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Visnadi is trying to get an arm triangle but Galati is defending well. Galati defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Visnadi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Galati has escaped the position, nice work there. Galati is looking for a sweep. Galati can't do much from the bottom here. Visnadi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Galati is avoiding damage well.
Visnadi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Galati struggling a bit here. Galati sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Galati wants to control but Visnadi is keeping busy and won't allow it. Galati gets back to full guard.

Visnadi wants to pass the guard but Galati is keeping the position. Galati trying to keep a closed guard but Visnadi is proving a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Galati looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Visnadi takes the fight into the clinch. Galati manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Galati controls Visnadi momentarily but Visnadi frees himself. Galati is really struggling to control Visnadi but he's trying to hold on to the position. Visnadi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Galati trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Visnadi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Galati's guard. Galati is doing well to control the position and prevent Visnadi from advancing to side control. Visnadi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Galati's head. Galati looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galati has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Visnadi is working away from the top position though. Gianni Visnadi has got the better of the ground game so far. Galati moves into full guard.
Galati has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Visnadi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Visnadi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Visnadi forces his way into half guard. Visnadi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Visnadi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Visnadi wants to work for an arm triangle but Galati is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Visnadi is looking to advance position but Galati won't allow it. Visnadi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Galati is refusing to be controlled, as Visnadi sits in half guard. Galati has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Visnadi is working away from the top position though. Well, if Visnadi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Galati throws a left and a right that both miss
and Visnadi counters by clinching up. Galati working hard to break the clinch. Visnadi pulls guard effortlessly. Galati trying to control the position from guard on top but Visnadi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Galati got a little sloppy there for a moment and Visnadi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Galati has managed to get both his arms back between Visnadi's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Galati lands a couple of digs. Galati looking to pass the guard. Visnadi has a closed guard, preventing Galati from standing up. Visnadi throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Galati trying to control but Visnadi is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gianni Visnadi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Visnadi tries to keep at a distance but Galati has taken the fight into the clinch. Galati turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! You can see the frustration on Visnadi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Visnadi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Galati is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Visnadi has escaped the position, nice work there. Visnadi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Galati is looking to take a break and control but Visnadi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galati is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Visnadi's shoulder. That is not cool. Galati misses with the ground and pound. Galati goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Visnadi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Galati but great work by Visnadi. Visnadi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Galati is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Galati is trying to control Visnadi's posture but Visnadi avoids it. Galati manages to work his way to half guard, despite Visnadi's best efforts. Visnadi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Galati defends it well.

Visnadi is figuring out what he wants to do next. Galati tries to roll over but Visnadi keeps him under control. Galati is working hard here to advance position. Galati throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pavel Galati has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Galati looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A nice combination there by Galati.
Gianni Visnadi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Galati rushes Visnadi and presses him up against the cage. Visnadi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Galati gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Visnadi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Visnadi trying to control the position from guard on top but Galati is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Galati is looking for a triangle but Visnadi pushes his legs off easily.
Visnadi is pushing down on Galati's leg trying to pass to half guard. Galati is fighting to maintain full guard but Visnadi has managed to sneak the leg through. Galati is refusing to be controlled, as Visnadi sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Galati actively working from the bottom here. Galati slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pavel Galati. I think Visnadi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
