Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Taslim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafa Mandenhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taslim comes to the cage accompanied by La Coka Nostra - "Mind Your Business". Rafa Mandenhi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandenhi tries to keep at a distance but Taslim has taken the fight into the clinch.
Taslim dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Taslim lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Taslim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Taslim moves into the clinch successfully.
Taslim lands a right hand that snaps the head of Mandenhi backwards.

Taslim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mandenhi on the ground.

Taslim wants to control but Mandenhi is having none of it.
Mandenhi has hold of Taslim's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Taslim manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mandenhi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Taslim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Taslim shrugs it off.

My spies in Cozad MMA Tokyo inform me that Mandenhi has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Mandenhi looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mandenhi unloads with some shots from mount but Taslim bucks and avoids them well.

Mandenhi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Taslim gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mandenhi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Taslim after a bit of a struggle.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Taslim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
