The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Thor.

It looks like Big Poon has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Thor has knocked Poon down with a huge combo! Thor steps away and waves a wobbly Poon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Poon is rocked!
Mike Thor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Poon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Poon trying to control the position from guard on top but Thor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Poon looking to sit in guard and control but Thor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Thor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Thor throws a strike but Poon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Poon tries to free his leg and advance position but Thor is retaining full guard.

Thor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Mike Thor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Poon dodges the punch combination from Thor.
Poon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Thor engages and cracks Poon with a massive lead left hook - Poon tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Thor is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
