The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quentin Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Costa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Riley defends it nicely.
Costa moves forwards but Riley connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Riley cracks Costa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Costa glances at the clock... BAM! Riley nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Costa crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Costa is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grant Riley!
A relieved looking Grant Riley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
