Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Tomonaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Marcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomonaka comes to the cage accompanied by Pistolero. Marcy has chosen Archer's Cherlene - Danger Zone - Duet With Kenny Loggins as his entrance music. Lance Marcy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Magnus Tomonaka's chin.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomonaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Marcy.
Marcy staying out of range there.
Tomonaka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tomonaka misses with a combination
and Marcy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Marcy.
Tomonaka is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marcy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tomonaka to the mat. Tomonaka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Marcy tries to free his leg and advance position but Tomonaka is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marcy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tomonaka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marcy on the ground.
Tomonaka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Marcy defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tomonaka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tomonaka looking for a sweep. Not yet Tomonaka, not yet.
Tomonaka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marcy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tomonaka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Marcy's guard.
Marcy keeping moving, preventing Tomonaka from controlling successfully.
Marcy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marcy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Marcy is looking to take a break and control but Tomonaka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tomonaka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Marcy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tomonaka is trying to get back to full guard.

Marcy wants to take a breather but Tomonaka is having none of it.

Marcy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tomonaka is just riding it out for now. Marcy eventually gives up the hold.
Marcy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tomonaka is trying to get back to full guard.

Marcy passes to side control.
Tomonaka is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Marcy is taking a breather. Tomonaka says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Marcy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Marcy seems to be working for a kimura but Tomonaka defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tomonaka is holding on to half guard well.
Marcy is pressing down on Tomonaka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tomonaka is holding on for now.

Tomonaka is looking for a sweep. Marcy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Marcy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tomonaka defend it? Marcy steps over the head and cranks it - Tomonaka is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Marcy!
