Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sabed Azbuhlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Snape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snape with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Snape throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Snape thuds a left hand into Azbuhlev's body.
Snape misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Snape darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Sabed Azbuhlev has been cut.
Snape misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Azbuhlev needs to keep his hands up - Snape had a free shot at his head there.

Azbuhlev throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Snape tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Azbuhlev is in Snape's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

enabling Azbuhlev to counter with a crisp jab.

and Snape counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Snape ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Azbuhlev drives through and clinches with Snape against the cage.
Snape blocks the elbow strike.

Snape tries to circle away but Azbuhlev has him pinned against the cage.

Azbuhlev throws a punch but it's blocked by Snape.
Azbuhlev blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Snape lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Snape lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Azbuhlev swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Azbuhlev is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Snape can't break the clinch.
Snape blocking some punches.

Azbuhlev has Snape pressed against the cage, preventing Snape from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Snape can't find room to land a body shot as Azbuhlev controls the action.

Azbuhlev's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Snape tries to break the clinch but Azbuhlev is controlling the position.
Azbuhlev swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Snape works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Azbuhlev is trying to pull guard but Snape turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Azbuhlev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snape.

Snape drops Azbuhlev with a beautiful combination! Azbuhlev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Snape is looking for the KO!

Snape grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Azbuhlev takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Snape cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
