Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeki Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeki Chan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eddie Kilpatrick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeki Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eddie Kilpatrick! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilpatrick drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kilpatrick stays in close to Chan's body and controls the position. Chan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kilpatrick manages to pass to side control. Chan pushes Kilpatrick off looking to stand but Kilpatrick dives back in and keeps control.
Chan scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Kilpatrick manages to mount him!
Chan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chan tries to get out of the position. Kilpatrick lands a heavy elbow. Kilpatrick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kilpatrick in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Kilpatrick content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Kilpatrick might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Chan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kilpatrick on the ground. Kilpatrick scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kilpatrick takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chan wants to hold on but Kilpatrick pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilpatrick controlling the position easily from mount. Kilpatrick working the ground and pound effectively.
Kilpatrick lands a couple of good shots and Chan has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kilpatrick lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Chan.
Kilpatrick is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Chan won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kilpatrick off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eddie Kilpatrick!
