Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keijiro Maeda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Santos! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maeda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maeda misses with a takedown attempt and Santos counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Maeda! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Maeda is being controlled here. Maeda trying his best to control but Santos has mounted him. Santos controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that Santos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Santos avoids the attempt from Maeda to control.

Antonio Santos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Maeda tries to clinch but Santos is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maeda with a poor takedown and Santos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Santos is stalling in the full guard. Maeda throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Antonio Santos hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Santos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Maeda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Santos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Maeda won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keijiro Maeda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maeda is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Santos is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Santos controlling his opponent.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Maeda throws his legs up looking for a submission but Santos uses it to pass to side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santos stands up. Maeda doesn't succeed with the takedown and Santos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Santos. Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Maeda shoots and misses and Santos counters with a single leg into guard. Maeda didn't expect that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maeda wants to hit a switch here but Santos passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Maeda there! Santos content just to control the position here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maeda scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Santos manages to mount him!
And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Santos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
