Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chadwick Kramer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry The Lobster! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kramer misses with a double jab.
The Lobster takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The Lobster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kramer keeping moving, preventing The Lobster from controlling successfully. Kramer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Lobster on the ground. Kramer looking for a guillotine here but The Lobster defends easily.
Kramer is looking for a triangle but The Lobster pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Lobster trying to control but Kramer is working from the bottom. Kramer is looking to stand up but The Lobster isn't so interested in that idea. Kramer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Lobster trying to control but Kramer is working from the bottom. Kramer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kramer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Larry The Lobster has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. The Lobster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kramer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The Lobster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The Lobster trying to control but Kramer is working from the bottom. Kramer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Lobster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Lobster in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The Lobster works a leg free and moves into half guard. The Lobster seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Lobster content to control rather than advance. The Lobster throwing shots but Kramer is blocking nicely. The Lobster uses his free foot to push down on Kramer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kramer. The Lobster swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kramer is now in The Lobster's guard. A big mistake from The Lobster there, giving up the dominant position! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Lobster utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The Lobster pushes a forearm under Kramer's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kramer is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
