17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Stroud! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ben Watson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroud pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice combo by Stroud! Oh, that's hurt him - Di Vaio falls to the canvas and Stroud follows him into side control. Stroud working the ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Di Vaio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stroud swings around for an armbar but Di Vaio sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stroud's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Di Vaio being controlled here momentarily. Di Vaio trying to control the position from guard on top but Stroud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Di Vaio pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stroud is keeping the position for now. Stroud looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Di Vaio passes into side control.

Di Vaio in side control, throwing shots but Stroud defends. Stroud is trying to control Di Vaio's posture but Di Vaio avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Di Vaio is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stroud has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stroud struggling a bit here. Stroud is looking for a sweep. Di Vaio is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stroud looks calm but he's in trouble here. Di Vaio gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stroud is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Di Vaio lets go of the hold and Stroud can pop his arm back in it's socket.
