Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Bessac!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Bessac both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Benito Oneil has been cut.
Oneil fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oneil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oneil keeps the fight on the outside.
Bessac darts in and clinches Oneil up against the cage.
Bessac's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bessac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bessac avoids the body shot from Oneil.
Bessac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bessac tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oneil sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bessac somewhat.
A punch combination from Oneil misses.
Oneil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bessac closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bessac lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Oneil keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Oneil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oneil.
Bessac postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Bessac wants to control from the top but Oneil keeps moving.
Oneil wants to sweep here but Bessac controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oneil keeping moving, preventing Bessac from controlling successfully.
Bessac looking to sit in guard and control but Oneil gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bessac isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Oneil stacks Bessac on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Oneil!
Oneil decides to stand back up.
Scott Bessac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oneil tries to clinch there but Bessac circles away.
Oneil is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bessac lands with a big left! Oneil is wobbled badly! Bessac comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Oneil to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Scott Bessac!
