Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yahweh Falwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taz Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falwell's entrance music is Don't Stop Believing. A fine choice. Brandon has chosen Ace Of Spades as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yahweh Falwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz Brandon! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falwell is looking to clinch but Brandon is avoiding it.
Brandon closes the distance and clinches. Brandon wants a takedown.
Falwell wants to break free but Brandon has control.
Brandon wants the takedown. Falwell is fighting it off but Brandon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Falwell's guard against the cage. Brandon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Falwell wants to clinch and Brandon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brandon moves nicely into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Falwell's face as Brandon controls the position. Brandon advances nicely into full mount. Falwell trying desperately to get to his feet.
Brandon content just to control the position here. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brandon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Falwell is bucking up trying to escape but Brandon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon controlling the pace for now. Brandon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Brandon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brandon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Falwell taking shots to the head. Brandon content just to control the position here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brandon working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandon looking to control and managing it successfully. Brandon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Brandon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Taz Brandon! Taz Brandon decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Yahweh Falwell spoke after the fight, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
