Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simon Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeff Li was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Simon Frazier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Li! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Frazier scores with a takedown into Li's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Li holds on and takes a little breather. Frazier controlling from the top position. Li tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. Li wants to sweep here but Frazier controlling him for the moment. Frazier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Frazier trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Li stuffs the takedown. Li connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Frazier takes a jab right on the kisser.
Frazier dives in for a single leg takedown but Li sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Li is trying to break free. Frazier is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Li gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Frazier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frazier is looking to take this one to the mat. Li escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frazier tries to clinch there but Li circles away.
Li lands a nice hook to Frazier's body. Frazier takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Nice cross by Li. Li has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Frazier is landing a low percentage of strikes. Li works Frazier's body with a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Li there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frazier looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Frazier is rocked! Frazier shoots in but Li avoids the takedown attempt easily. Li lands a slapping body shot.
Li keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Li sends Frazier crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Li is motioning to the referee to let Frazier up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Oh Frazier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Frazier loses concentration momentarily and Li pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Frazier crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Li finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jeff Li! Jeff Li decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
