Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JunJun Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dakker Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JunJun Jones! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kane keeping hold of Jones's head, controlling as best he can. Kane regains full guard. Nicely done. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Kane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kane wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kane tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kane in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kane is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. Kane tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kane tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well. Kane prevents Jones from escaping the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dakker Kane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
JunJun Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kane misses with a few strikes there.
Kane throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage. Kane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Kane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dakker Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kane content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking to stand up but Kane isn't so interested in that idea. Kane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kane is stalling in the full guard. Kane has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses. Kane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. JunJun Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kane. Jones shrugs it off though. Kane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kane scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jones wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kane wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jones wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kane is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kane takes a little break here. Jones wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dakker Kane dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kane tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kane to the ground. Kane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice body punch from Kane. Kane dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Kane is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Kane has managed to sneak the leg through. Kane is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kane is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kane to get the leverage. Kane seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kane passes to side control. Kane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kane controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Dakker Kane showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
