Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Madi Baco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osvaldo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Madi Baco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Osvaldo Santos!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Santos.
Baco moves into range and clinches up with Santos.
Baco with a knee to the head.
It looks like Osvaldo Santos has been cut.
Baco scores with a nice hook to the head.
Baco gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Santos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baco fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Santos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Baco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Baco has Santos up against the cage in a clinch.
Santos takes a knee right on the jaw!

Baco lands a shoulder strike.
Baco tries a knee to the head but Santos blocks it.
Baco lands a hook that snaps the head of Santos backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baco unloads a knee to the mid-section. Santos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Santos looks winded!
Baco lands a nice elbow.
Baco lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Baco has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Santos - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Baco, and another! Santos is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Madi Baco!
A less than humble Madi Baco misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
