Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Banks! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres takes the fight into the clinch. Banks wants to get back to striking at distance but Torres won't allow it.
Torres prevents Banks from breaking the clinch. Torres tries to pull guard but Banks holds him up against the cage and eventually Torres drops back down to his feet.
Torres pulls guard. Torres escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Banks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Banks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Banks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Torres looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Torres steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Banks. That one must have hurt. Banks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Torres's calf. Banks ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Banks bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Banks scores with a jab to the head.
Torres takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Banks sends Torres crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Banks is motioning to the referee to let Torres up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Torres is rocked! Banks is looking to slow Torres down with leg kicks. Torres takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Banks thuds his shin into the meat of Torres's side. Banks scores with a shot to the body.
Chuck Banks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Banks changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Torres. Banks misses with a few strikes there.
Torres darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Torres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Banks defends it well. Banks tries to roll over but Torres keeps him under control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Torres seems to be working for a kimura but Banks defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Banks dominated that round. That's time! Torres's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A punch lands to the side of Torres 's head but he takes it in his stride. Torres shoots for a takedown but Banks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Torres has a takedown stuffed. Banks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Banks looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Torres tries to move into full mount but can't pass Banks's legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Banks is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres tries for a kimura but Banks is defending well. Banks sneaks out the side door and pushes Torres away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Banks scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Torres swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Banks counters with a stiff right hand. Banks lands a jab to the head.
Banks tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck for Torres with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks closes the distance and lands a one-two. Nice takedown defense from Banks. No joy for Torres on that attempt. Banks with a nice cross. Torres looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Banks! Torres goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Banks turns into him and now he's in Torres's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Banks wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Torres looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres trying to keep a closed guard but Banks is proving a slippery customer.

Banks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Torres trying to control from the bottom.

Chuck Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Nice cross by Banks. Banks uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Torres has time to react. Banks smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Banks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Torres counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Banks's guard now. Torres postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Banks is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Torres, into his guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Torres looking to control.

Torres gets back to half guard. Josh Torres overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Torres has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Banks escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Banks! The ground and pound from Banks seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Torres steps over the head and cranks it - Banks is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Torres!
