12 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Bashor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Coryatt! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bashor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coryatt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Coryatt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bashor throws out the jab. A punch combination from Coryatt misses. Coryatt is looking to clinch but Bashor is avoiding it.
Bashor tries to sprawl but Coryatt drives through with a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bashor looking for submissions off his back. Coryatt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coryatt lands a decent elbow from side control. Bashor is looking for a sweep. Bashor is trying to get back to half guard. Bashor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coryatt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coryatt lands a couple of elbows. Bashor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bashor has his foot on Coryatt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coryatt works his way back into a safe position though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bashor keeping moving, preventing Coryatt from controlling successfully. Coryatt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. You can't force these things though and Coryatt defends well. Coryatt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bashor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Bashor will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He's got his arms around Coryatt's waist but Coryatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bashor off to one side. Jesse Bashor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bashor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Coryatt scores with a head kick. Bashor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Bashor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
