Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pena Trasseli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes into the arena with Funker Vogt "Arising Hero" blaring out of the sound system. Trasseli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Look at my horse!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Barry Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pena Trasseli! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen staying out of range there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Allen. Horrible takedown attempt by Allen or perhaps it was just good defense by Trasseli, which made it look bad. Nice straight punches there by Trasseli. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Trasseli. Trasseli has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Trasseli lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Allen at a distance.
Trasseli thuds his right hand into Allen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Trasseli throws a body shot but no joy. Allen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Trasseli stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trasseli.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trasseli misses with a body kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Allen or perhaps it was just good defense by Trasseli, which made it look bad. Allen shoots in and drives through. Trasseli sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trasseli as he avoids it easily. Allen with a poor takedown and Trasseli counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Trasseli throws a body shot but no joy. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Allen is defended easily by Trasseli. Trasseli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Allen misses with a takedown attempt and Trasseli counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Trasseli throws the kick towards the body but Allen avoids it. Allen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Trasseli defends well and Allen ends up having to push Trasseli into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Allen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Trasseli prevents it.
Allen is breathing heavily. Trasseli stops a takedown attempt from Allen.

Allen pulls guard. Trasseli working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Allen's head. Allen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Trasseli cracks Allen with a solid left hand. Trasseli throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Allen being controlled here, momentarily. Trasseli pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Allen is keeping the position for now. Trasseli throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Allen closes the distance and clinches up with Trasseli, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes Trasseli against the cage but Trasseli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Trasseli jabbing away but nothing is landing. Allen shoots for a takedown but Trasseli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Trasseli lands with a good body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Trasseli. Allen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Trasseli makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trasseli, as that shot connected.
Allen darts in looking for a takedown but Trasseli gets double underhooks and turns Allen into the cage. Trasseli lands a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trasseli scoring with some ground and pound. Trasseli scoring with some ground and pound. Trasseli cracks Allen with a solid left hand. Trasseli advances position into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Trasseli working away. Trasseli wants to stand but Allen has his arm trapped. Allen is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pena Trasseli dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Allen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trasseli avoids it really well and circles away. Trasseli lands with a hook. Allen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A looping hook to the body misses from Trasseli. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet. Trasseli throws a body shot but no joy. Allen ducks under a wild hook from Trasseli. Trasseli is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Allen rather than just go for the knockout. Trasseli throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Allen slips a jab from Trasseli. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trasseli works the jab nicely. Allen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Barry Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allen slips a straight right by Trasseli. Allen shoots for a takedown but Trasseli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Trasseli counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Allen thinking. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Allen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Trasseli throws the kick towards the body but Allen avoids it. Trasseli scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Trasseli throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Trasseli digs a good hook to Allen's body.
No joy there for Trasseli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trasseli leaves Allen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Trasseli throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range. A lazy body kick from Trasseli and Allen counters with a single leg into guard. Trasseli didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Allen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Trasseli looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Allen is defending well. Trasseli quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Allen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Trasseli celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Pena Trasseli very nearly forgot to thank Perkele! amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
