The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalo looks to land a combination but Laruso avoids it well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Laruso .
Shalo misses with a body kick.
Laruso takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Daniel Laruso has been cut.
Laruso shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Shalo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laruso keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shalo tries a head kick but it misses.
Shalo bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Laruso ! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Shalo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Laruso seems to have got his legs back now.

Laruso has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shalo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Laruso has tightened it up now! Shalo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
