Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ravi Shankoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shankoli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shankoli throws a poor cross that misses
and Dos Santos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dos Santos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Shankoli stalks Dos Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dos Santos's face. Dos Santos staggers backwards, shaken.
Dos Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dos Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Shankoli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dos Santos manages to avoid it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dos Santos might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Well Shankoli has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
